ABOUT US

I was lucky enough to spend my first years out of college working under the tutelage of some amazing winemakers in both the northern and southern hemispheres. It was during these travels that I learned the efforts needed to make wine, it’s not as glamorous as it may seem.

story part I.

During the end of my travels I went to McClaren Vale Australia, working under Ben Caldwell and Mauricio Ruiz at SOMOS (www.somoswines.com). It was here that I was exposed to an amazing and refreshing take on winemaking.

Bright, fresh, delicious wines made with serious effort and intent. I wanted to come back to Washington and give it a go and here we are today.

story part II.

owner & winemaker

There is something about the long days in the vineyard and winery that speak to me. Maybe it was my mother’s constant nagging to do yardwork, maybe it was my lack of desire to sit under artificial lighting that drove me down this path.

Winemaking is incredibly rewarding. Each year is a curveball, from droughts, to frosts, to pandemics. There is a certain sense of rolling with the punches, putting in your best efforts while taking what the universe gives you that I love. This chaos shapes us, and I try my best to reflect that in each and every wine I make.

Driven by simplicity & authenticity, we strive to make lo-fi wines that showcase each vineyard and the different punches mother nature throws at us.

Our wine club is completely customizable, easy to handle, and comes twice a year all while being a fantastic way to taste everything we make and also pick favorites.

There are two options: a three or six bottle option depending on your wine needs.
